Bowman Christian School

Located in my hometown of Auburn, California, Bowman Christian School is a small private institution dedicated to preserving local Christian values and serving the surrounding community. Our team was brought in to develop electrical plans and perform detailed load calculations to support a new backup power system for the site.

The school required that critical equipment — including refrigeration units and other essential systems — remain operational during PG&E outages. To achieve this, we designed a large-scale generator solution paired with precise load modeling to ensure reliable performance without oversizing the generator-to-load capacity, optimizing both efficiency and cost.

Since this is a school facility, it falls under DSA jurisdiction, which brings its own unique permitting and review process. While often more complex than working through a traditional AHJ, we welcome the challenge. The project is currently underway, and we look forward to sharing more as it progresses.
